Nalgene Stormwater Sampler

The Nalgene storm water sampler and mounting kit is a convenient, easy-to-install device which meets EPA first flush grab sampling requirements, and eliminates the need to mobilize field personnel to immediately collect storm water samples.

Nalgene storm water samplers eliminate the need for decontamination after every use, as in traditional automated sampling equipment. The storm water sampler is a simple, plastic disposable device that collects a full liter of first flush storm water into a Nalgene sample bottle. A floating ball valve automatically closes the bottle when it is full, preventing sample dillution. When used with the mounting kit, the sampler can be securely positioned into a drainage ditch, stream or storm grate outfall. The mounting device can easily be positioned once and left in-place, then loaded with a new disposable sampler each quarter. Field personnel can conveniently and economically collect all of their samples in a single rainfall event.

The dense rigid PVC tube allows for a perfectly clear visual sample inspection and is guaranteed to protect sample integrity and has been cleaned to EPA protocol and certified by independent lab analysis.

The SinkFast bailer has a solid top and nozzle made of polyethylene instead of brittle ABS material and is the only bailer with 4 welds at the top and bottom for added strength & security. The SinkFast bailer has an easy tie-off top and is a 1 liter capacity and measures 1.6" outside diameter by 36".

NASCO Swing Sampler (12')

The Nasco Swing Sampler is specially designed for collecting samples from storm outlet discharge pipes, flowing streams or rivers. The end of the sampler swings, allowing collection from different angles, including 90-degrees. The 6-ft. fiberglass pole extends to 12-ft., making this sampler extremely versatile.

The Nasco Swing Sampler comes with a 960-ml polyethylene bottle with a leak-proof cover that is held in-place with an adjustable locking plastic snapper ring.

The Nasco Swing Sampler can also be used to take storm water samples through our Adsorb-it Stormfilter unit with the 6-inch sample collection port for collecting filtered/treated storm water.
